Job Description

A highly skilled and motivated Front End Developer is required to join our dynamic team in a high-impact national AI/ML project. You will work closely with UX designers, developers, DevSecOps engineers, and data scientists to design and develop scalable solutions, lead React/Svelte frontend implementation, and deploy applications in Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build agile, user-centric AI/ML products (web applications & web services)
  • Develop and implement responsive, high-performance frontend designs
  • Build APIs and integrate data from various sources
  • Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Adopt best practices in software engineering, including code reviews and test-driven development
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain robust, scalable applications

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • At least 2 years' experience in software/firmware development
  • Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, and/or Svelte
  • Proven frontend development experience (React, Svelte, or similar)
  • Proficiency in containerization tools (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS and open-source communities
  • Experience in REST APIs, web services, and messaging protocols (e.g., MQTT)
  • Knowledge or exposure to machine learning algorithms is a plus
