Job Description

The Nanyang Assistant Professorship scheme provides an opportunity for outstanding early career researchers to take on a research leadership role at NTU. Successful awardees will be appointed as tenure-track Assistant Professors and granted substantial start-up grants to lay the foundation for their research ventures.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must hold a PhD or MD degree, obtained within the last 10 years.
  • Clinician scientists engaged in translational and/or clinical science are encouraged to apply.
  • A strong track record of early achievements and the potential to lead an independent research group are required.
  • Eligibility extends to both new external applicants and NTU Faculty who have joined within the last 12 months or within 3 years after PhD.
Responsibilities and Opportunities
  • Lead research in mathematical models to understand long-term dynamics of natural- and vaccine-induced infections.
  • Develop a portfolio to maximize revenue from business opportunities in Asia Pacific Healthcare.
  • Engage with product and research teams to unlock deployment opportunities.
