Dining Service Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Dining Service Specialist to join our team.

  • Deliver exceptional service standards in line with hotel operating policies and procedures.
  • Prepare beverages and food garnishes accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverage orders from the kitchen to dining tables with efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing dirty dishes and glasses promptly and cleaning tables thoroughly after guests have finished their meals.
  • Process guest payments accurately and prepare itemized checks.
  • Clean and set up dining areas, including refilling condiments, rolling silverware into napkins and stocking service stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet guests, present menus and communicate daily specials effectively.
  • Answer guest questions about menu items with confidence and accuracy.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests accurately.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform cashiering duties as instructed.
  • Generate reports from the Point of Sale (POS) system on daily meal types served.
