Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing daily cover/supply arrangements, managing the deployment of cover/supply teachers, and tracking student attendance. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of school management information systems and strong communication skills.

  • Duties">
  • Coordinate and manage daily cover/supply arrangement for the Secondary Years, in conjunction with the Dean of Student Life.">
  • Manage and coordinate the deployment of cover/supply teachers.">
  • Student Attendance/Arrival tracking, including contacting parents whose ward has not arrived at school and communicating regarding their absence.">
  • Tracking of teachers who have not recorded student attendance.">
  • Attendance Tracking, to ensure students meet attendance requirements as set by the authorities.">
  • Lead exam timetabling and invigilation schedules, with support from the IB Coordinators and Dean of Student Life.">
  • Ensure set-up and smooth running of internal examinations, including coordination of invigilators.">
  • Operate school integrated management system (PowerSchool, and related software programmes) to support curriculum, assessment and reporting to parents.">
  • Make changes to the Secondary Years timetable, staffing and rooming in PowerSchool throughout the academic year, where required.">
  • Ensure accurate setup of school management information systems for reporting periods.">
  • Assist in the SY office in the absence of the Executive Assistant.">

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or related fields.">
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a school, preferably in an international school setting (Secondary Years).">
  • Previous experience in an administrative or similar role.">
  • Ability to manage and handle systems comfortably.">
  • Excellent English Language communication skills (Verbal & Written).">
  • Team player, able to work with tight deadlines and solution focused.">
  • Flexible, adaptable and quick learner.">
