**Job Overview**

The Tax Manager role oversees the preparation and review of tax filings, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines. This position involves providing guidance on tax-efficient strategies and leading a team of tax professionals to achieve this goal.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide guidance on tax-efficient strategies for business operations, investments, and financial transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns, encompassing corporate tax, personal tax, and withholding tax.

**Team Leadership**

  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and oversight on tax-related matters.
  • Identify and mitigate tax-related risks and exposures.

**Requirements**

  • Hold a degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a professional qualification such as ACCA.
  • Be an accredited tax professional with SCTP in Income Tax. Holding an accreditation in GST is an added advantage.
  • Possess strong technical tax knowledge, leadership skills, and excellent communication and analytical abilities.

**Collaboration and Communication**

  • Work collaboratively with accountants, attorneys, and other business partners on clients' tax-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain tax policies, procedures, and documentation.

**Special Projects**

  • Assist with special tax projects, such as tax restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and international tax planning.
  • Address GST-related issues.
