The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Quantitative Trader to join our team in London and Singapore. As a Junior Quantitative Trader, you will be responsible for operating proprietary systems, monitoring trading activity, and performing research and analysis to improve the profitability of our trading models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate proprietary systems in accordance with the trading desk's objectives.
  • Monitor trading activity and positions consistently throughout the shift.
  • Perform research and post-trade analysis using our research tools to improve the profitability of existing models.
  • Apply expertise in market microstructure, historical tick data, and quantitative modeling to conduct research and develop new sources of alpha.
  • Work closely with strategy developers to collaborate, propose, and test strategy-specific code changes related to execution, pricing, and risk management.
  • Communicate with risk managers and internal technology groups regarding production issues.
  • Work with the teams to solve for trade breaks, position, and activity reconciliation exceptions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related analytical field.
  • At least 6 years of work experience, including 2+ years of experience in trading, finance, or related fields, with a focus on digital assets and FX.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and math skills.
  • Experience in Python and Java is a plus.
  • Passion for fintech, markets, and technological innovation in trading.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and interpersonal skills focused on contributing to the success of the trading desk.
