Senior Mechanical Superintendent Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the work activities of piping personnel to ensure timely and high-quality project completion. Key responsibilities include coordinating personnel, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules and collaborating with project management teams to optimize piping activities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, be familiar with OSHA guidelines and safe work practices, and have a solid understanding of weld symbols, procedures, mechanical, and structural drawings.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate piping personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet project schedules.
  • Support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for piping activities.
  • Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems, and evaluate realistic options; recommend and implement appropriate courses of action.
  • Adhere to and support health and safety policies.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in a relevant field.
  • BCSS or BCSS(T) certification.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to take detailed instruction and willingness to improve welding skills to meet quality standards.
