About the Job:

The role of Vehicles Operations Manager involves overseeing the smooth operation of special vehicles workshops. This includes coordinating servicing, maintenance, and repairs, as well as managing schedules and ensuring workshop safety.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collaborating with Officer-in-Charge to coordinate and supervise servicing, maintenance, and repairs for all special vehicles.
  • Managing work schedules in alignment with fleet requirements.
  • Maintaining good workshop housekeeping, supplies, machinery, and tooling.
  • Collaborating with Engineering to develop changeouts on special vehicles when required.
  • Responding to incidents in workshops, investigating, and developing reports.
  • Updating Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, or documentations when required.
  • Preparing daily and monthly reports on workshops.
  • Driving workshop business operations, materials, and overall costs reductions.
  • Ensuring workshop staff discipline and safety compliance.
  • Leading Safety, Security, and Training initiatives.
  • Implementing Kaizen initiatives to improve processes.
  • Upholding a positive work culture and conducting regular performance reviews.
