Job Role: Project Cost Estimator

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the tendering process and prepare estimates for construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tender documentation, submitting quotations or tender documents, estimating construction costs in a competitive manner, monitoring project progress, processing claims and contractual payments, negotiating and awarding sub-contractors, attending site meetings, and assisting supervisors in report writing and corresponding contract issues.

Requirements:

  • A degree in quantity surveying or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience in the construction industry is essential.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to confidently communicate with clients and suppliers.
  • Good attitude and a willingness to learn are also essential.
  • Prior experience as a QS in SG is preferred.
