Software Development Lead

We are seeking a senior software development professional to lead the design and development of innovative software solutions that drive operational efficiency, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and data intelligence across our platforms.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering with experience in leading projects and mentoring developers. They will be able to architect, design, and implement new/existing scalable software solutions for waste tracking, route optimization, emissions reporting, and data analytics.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), strong database experience (SQL and NoSQL), and understanding of large-scale data systems. They will also have proficiency in modern full-stack web application development (TypeScript preferred) and experience with API design and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of new/existing scalable software solutions for waste tracking, route optimization, emissions reporting, and data analytics.
  • Architect, design, and implement new/existing software solutions for waste management and environmental services.
  • Work closely with stakeholders in operations, compliance, and sustainability to understand and implement business needs.
  • Champion engineering best practices, code reviews, test automation, and ensure up-to-date system documentation.
  • Integrate third-party systems, sensors, and IoT data where applicable.
Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong programming fundamentals with languages such as Python, C#, .Net, PHP, Java.
  • Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering practices.
  • Proficiency in modern full-stack web application development (TypeScript preferred).
  • Experience with API design and system integration.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor developers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders.
