Data Engineer - Advanced Data Solutions

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in SQL, Apache Spark, and Hive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex data pipelines using Apache Spark and Hive.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and optimize data workflows.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and performance across systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong SQL programming skills (mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Hive (medium-level proficiency).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
