Academic Leadership Role

As a senior academic leader, you will drive the strategic direction of our academic programs. Key responsibilities include:Strategic Development
  • Develop and enhance policies and processes to improve the overall academic experience.
  • Implement plans that underpin the academic strategy, working closely with senior faculty members.
  • Advise on learning goals, teaching strategies, and student support services, ensuring a holistic approach to student success.
  • Collaborate with faculty and external stakeholders to design and review curriculum and courses.
  • Support the creation and execution of innovative programs, effective pedagogical approaches, and educational technologies.
  • Ensure effective document control, including reviewing, updating, and maintaining program documentation and policies.
  • Support accreditation processes and ensure compliance with academic standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise the academic delivery of courses and programs, including examination procedures.
Teaching Excellence
  • Conduct lessons for up to 4 hours daily when required, providing engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Design and deliver assignments, assessments, and examinations, as well as provide constructive student feedback.
  • Aid students in enhancing their campus experience, promoting well-being, and advancing academically.
  • Support pre- and post-course administrative tasks, including scheduling adjunct lecturers and managing material submissions.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Minimum Degree or Master's in an open subject.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in module and/or program leadership, development, and administration within a higher education environment.
  • 3-4 years of teaching experience, particularly in diverse business disciplines.
  • Teaching qualification, such as ACTA/ACLP or DACE/DDDLP, is preferred.
  • Experience in CPE is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese to liaise with China counterparts, preferred but not essential.
  • Strong time management abilities and excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams.
