Process and Controls Specialist


About the Role:

This position is a fantastic opportunity to join our team in driving process improvement and controls within global securities operations. The role will involve analyzing front-to-back settlement processes across multiple asset classes and markets, identifying gaps and risks, and implementing solutions to strengthen efficiency and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and optimize front-to-back securities settlement processes across Equities, Fixed Income, Securities Borrowing & Lending, and Prime Brokerage.
  • Identify control gaps, operational risks, and areas for automation; propose and implement process improvements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance to gather requirements, run workshops, and translate needs into BRDs, user stories, and test cases.
  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including development of test plans, scripts, and results validation.
  • Conduct data analysis and trace transactions across multiple systems to identify root causes of breaks or inefficiencies.
  • Provide clear documentation, reporting, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting risks, metrics, and recommended solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Agile project management methodologies are also highly desirable.
