Aerospace Non-Destructive Tester

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on aircraft and related components.
Job Summary:
- Perform high-quality NDT inspections both on base and away from base as assigned by the Operations Manager, ensuring all work is completed promptly and meets delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain strict adherence to quality and safety standards while working on aircraft.
- Document all work carried out on appropriate paperwork and sign off progressively.
- Ensure the work area remains clean and orderly.
- Adhere to regulatory and Health and Safety procedures.
- Comply with airport regulations and procedures.
- Be willing to undergo further training and qualification in additional NDT methods to progress to NDT Level 3.
Requirements:
- Currently qualified to EN4179 Level 2 in at least two NDT methods (Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle inspection, Eddy-current Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Radiography).
- Recent documented experience in aerospace NDT inspection.
- Will to acquire certifying staff authorizations.
- Willingness to travel for training and work purposes.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and technical instructions.
- Ability to work within a team and independently, be self-motivated, and flexible in their approach to work.
- Will to up-skill and recertify on an ongoing basis.
- Good sense of commercial awareness.
