About the Role:

This position is responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) on aircraft structures, engines, and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NDT principles and techniques, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Perform NDT inspections using various methods, including fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI), magnetic particle inspection, and radiography.
  • Analyze inspection results to determine whether parts meet quality standards.
  • Develop and implement procedures for NDT processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in NDT techniques and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

">
  • A minimum diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 400 hours of experience performing FPI-Aerospace and at least two years of experience in dealing with aircraft structures, engines, and/or components.
  • Certification in a current NAS410/EN4179/PCN/ASNT or SNT-TC-1A standard.
  • Basic knowledge of product manufacturing, inspection technology, and aircraft engine maintenance.

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of SAP software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
