Database Engineering Position

This role involves the development and maintenance of databases to support business operations. Key responsibilities include database design, schema development, data integrity monitoring, performance optimization, and reporting structure creation.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are necessary for this position.

  • Design and develop Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and schemas for CIM databases
  • Develop and maintain CIM database applications and scripts
  • Monitor data integrity and performance of CIM databases and interfaces
  • Create reporting structures and interfaces to support reporting requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in database engineering.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and UNIX/LINUX scripting
  • Experience with MES, TIB/RV, and shop floor automation is a plus
  • JAVA development experience is a plus
