About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Autism Specialist Therapist to join our team at Pathlight School / Autism Resource Centre (Singapore).

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with pre-school aged children on the autism spectrum, providing assessment, intervention, training, and programme development services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment: Use formal and informal assessments to identify and report on the needs of child and family in the areas of Social Communication, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Speech & Language.
  • Intervention: Formulate social communication and related holistic goals for children in collaboration with teachers and other professionals, plan and implement relevant interventions and programmes, and monitor outcomes through regular reporting on progress of intervention goals.
  • Training: Develop and deliver in-service training and consultation to teachers, as well as workshops for parents/caregivers in the following areas: Understanding social communication and interaction in children on the autism spectrum, and Evidence-informed approaches, tools and strategies to support children on the autism spectrum.
  • Programme Development: Participate in curriculum/program development projects as directed.
Requirements
  • Fully registered/eligible for full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn about autism and passion to serve the autism community
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to changes and different perspectives
  • Be able to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced work environment
  • Exhibit excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of SGD 8,000 - SGD 12,000 per month, depending on experience, plus benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
