Job Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Leader to head our internal audit function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, risk-based internal audit plan that covers all key functions.
  • Provide objective assurance and strategic insights to the Audit Committee and Executive Management on the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes.
  • Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with IIA Standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of internal auditors, ensuring continuous professional growth and high performance.
  • Identify emerging risks and opportunities to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in internal audit, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within insurance or financial services.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in risk management and process improvements.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and enhancing organizational resilience.
