RINA Piraeus Team is seeking a highly experienced Senior Maritime Expert to join its office in the Marine Asia Region Division. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement of surveying processes.

Key Responsibilities- Acts as a professional specialist applying in-depth knowledge of Rules, Regulations, and industry concepts.
- Keeps abreast of new developments and recommends changes to surveying processes and safety programs.
- Conducts routine surveys on classed ships, offshore installations, or marine assets to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.
- Prepares technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys.
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates various phases of surveying work.
- Maintains quality, content, consistency, and continuity of work performed.
- Upholds the highest ethical standards in all professional interactions ensuring integrity, transparency, and fairness in survey processes.
- Minimum 8 years experience in the engineering or inspection/survey fields with an IACS member Classification Society.
- Hold qualification of Renewal survey and ISM/ISPS/MLC Audit.
- Proficiency in English commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, related services.
- Ability to understand engineering plans and have a basic knowledge of shipbuilding practices and ship operations.
- Knowledge of ships' engineering systems and machinery.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Professional Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
