Community Engagement OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and fulfilling volunteer needs through recruitment, coordination, training, and retention.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. They will also possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and fulfill volunteer needs through recruitment, coordination, training, and retention.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with volunteer policies and processes.
  • Plan, develop, and implement senior volunteerism initiatives.
  • Support volunteer leadership programs.
  • Organize volunteer recognition and engagement activities.
  • Drive recruitment and outreach initiatives, including events and campaigns to promote volunteerism.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate volunteer efforts.
  • Review and evaluate volunteer management policies and initiatives for improvement.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with grassroots organizations, corporations, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver community engagement projects.
  • Develop and manage communication strategies to support community engagement initiatives.
  • Support fundraising and donor engagement activities.
  • Maintain and update stakeholder and volunteer databases.
  • Track and monitor budgets, expenses, and funding for projects.
  • Provide secretariat support for meetings and prepare reports.
Requirements:The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
  • Education: Minimum GCE O Levels and above.
  • Skillset: Preferably with Advanced / Higher / Certificate in Community & Social Services.
