Role Overview

The KYC Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining the highest standards of quality in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough KYC reviews, verifying documentation against local regulations and bank standards to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor and track KYC records, develop and execute action plans for expiring records, and prevent past due status.
  • Highlight suspicious product usage from an AML perspective, prompting senior management review.
  • Collaborate with internal units to ensure diligent customer account reviews and documentation assessments.
  • Request information from Outreach/RM teams for accounts requiring completion.
  • Maintain exceptional quality standards (90% and above) for KYC reviews.
  • Address technical issues or procedural clarifications with managers for further guidance.
  • Submit files for Quality Control (QC) reviews, addressing discrepancies and perfecting submissions.
  • Effectively communicate with customers through phone calls as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in KYC/AML/Due Diligence or banking.
  • Proficient knowledge of AML/KYC policies, including applications and due diligence processes.
  • Subject Matter Expertise.
  • Exceptional analytical and comprehension skills for data analysis.
  • Strong documentation skills for articulate disposition.
  • Adherence to controls and compliance standards.
  • Detailed, well-organized self-starter capable of minimal supervision.
  • Multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in high-pressure environments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and results-oriented teamwork.
