Job Title: Asia Pacific Compliance Specialist We are seeking a meticulous and proactive professional to support our internal control and compliance activities across the Asia Pacific region. This role ensures internal processes are aligned with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards. Key Responsibilities:  
  • Implement and maintain internal control systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
  • Support audit processes and track resolution of findings, providing timely updates and insights.
  • Deliver compliance training and updates to ensure all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a compliant organization.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection and privacy regulations, protecting sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Contribute to Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Monitor and report on risk and compliance issues, providing recommendations for mitigating potential risks.
  • Support the review and alignment of corporate governance policies, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.
 Ideal Candidate:  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in internal control and compliance.
  • Possesses knowledge in up-to-date changes and developments in laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to maintain relationships with professionals at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to work well with a team as well as independently, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Japanese language skill is an advantage, enabling effective communication with Japan headquarters.
