Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with local and group reporting guidelines by managing daily accounting operations.
  • Review and validate accounting entries in SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness for monthly and quarterly closings.
  • Prepare and deliver local GAAP reports to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate the annual audit process, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax filings, including monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions, and related party transaction reports.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS and US GAAP; familiarity with the financial accounting and reporting practices of both Singapore and China is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English and Chinese to effectively liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments, with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
