Global Trading Firm Seeks Network Security Expert

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist to design and implement innovative security solutions for a leading global trading firm. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and high-performance trading, where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and resilient network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with technology, security, and trading teams to design and deploy innovative security solutions.
- Engineer and maintain resilient, scalable infrastructure that supports real-time market operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen defences, including micro-segmentation, port-based security, and advanced network controls.
- Deploy and manage firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, VPN concentrators, and NDR tools to safeguard connectivity and access.
- Leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to detect and respond to threats faster.
- Perform deep-dive packet capture analysis to identify vulnerabilities and enhance response strategies.
- Strong hands-on experience across firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NDR solutions.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/UDP, IP, OSI layers, and security protocols.
- Scripting or coding skills to automate security tasks and reduce manual effort.
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations to ensure network resilience around the clock.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical insights into actionable strategies.
