Job Title: Cloud Network Engineer

Leading global trading firms are seeking experienced engineers to support mission-critical low-latency infrastructure used for high-frequency trading across global markets.

  • Design, implement, and manage ultra-low-latency cloud and on-premises network infrastructure to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and automation tools using Python, Bash, or Ansible to ensure seamless connectivity and minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and tune secure and performant network architectures that meet the needs of global trading environments.

Key Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in network engineering with a strong understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, multicast, PTP).
  • Proven experience with AWS and/or Aliyun cloud networking components and familiarity with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, and Arista/Cisco routing gear.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of packet analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump) and automation experience using Python, Bash, or Ansible for config management and monitoring.
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced, global trading environments and motivated self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with colocated infrastructure, market data distribution, or exchange connectivity.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure) and secure cloud interconnect design.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
