Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS S/4HANA System Administrator to join our team at Geco Asia Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing SAP environments, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and HANA databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain SAP environments, ensuring system performance, security, and high availability across both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and other related applications.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations across the SAP landscape, ensuring compliance and security best practices.
  • Conduct performance tuning and proactive monitoring to ensure high system availability and optimal responsiveness.
  • Handle SAP transport management, client administration, and system refresh activities.
  • Oversee the application of SAP patches, updates, and support packs, in collaboration with application and development teams.
  • Maintain and optimize HANA database environments, ensuring data integrity, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Utilize SAP SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) for data replication between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Ensure security compliance by conducting system audits, patch management, and adhering to SAP security best practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP system issues.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to align with organizational IT standards and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Implement and manage disaster recovery plans and high availability strategies for SAP systems.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, including hands-on expertise with HANA database administration and SAP S/4HANA systems.
  • Strong experience in SAP SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) for data replication and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Proven expertise in SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, and patch management across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with HANA database administration, including HANA system replication, backup and recovery, and performance optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Security and compliance best practices, including security audits and system monitoring.
  • SAP BASIS or HANA certification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP performance optimization techniques, including HANA Mini Checks and Health Checks.
  • SAP S/4HANA upgrade and migration knowledge, including greenfield and conversion projects.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture transformation and SAP best practices.
