Job Description

A Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients in a prompt and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic radiography or medicine, with experience in clinical ultrasound.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing clinical imaging duties in ultrasound
  • Assisting consultants in ultrasound-guided procedures
  • Oversleeping the smooth operations of the ultrasound section and ensuring proper usage and care of equipment
  • Ensuring quality assurance programs are implemented and observed
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist, you will need:

  • Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Radiography / Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Accredited by recognized institutions/organizations e.g. Diploma/Degree in Medical Ultrasonography, Graduate diploma in Medical Ultrasonography (DMU)
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
