This role involves conducting feasibility studies, material selection, and prototyping using CAD tools such as SolidWorks. Collaboration with customers and internal teams is essential to develop tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new connector systems and components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and material selection.

- Test and validate products according to aerospace and other relevant standards.
- Prepare detailed documentation including technical drawings, test reports, and engineering change notices.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in connectors, microelectronics, or aerospace components.
- Strong proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of materials (plastics, metals) and manufacturing processes (injection molding, stamping, overmolding).
- Familiarity with testing and qualification standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on prototyping ability.
- Strong communication skills in English, with French being an added advantage.
