Senior Financial Planning Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing annual financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting processes.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to pick up on financial trends and communicate effectively with management. You will work closely with the broader team to continually improve and streamline processes, as well as provide support for a range of ad hoc projects/reports as they arise within the general finance area.

This role offers broad exposure to all aspects of business operations, including leadership/general management skills, external influencing, thought leadership, and partner exposure. If you are a dynamic individual able to work with a broad range of people across the organization, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We are looking for a results-oriented individual with a drive for continuous improvement and proven success in achieving goals. You will need to be able to juggle priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high degree of ethics and integrity.

Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results:

  • Monitoring financial KPIs and reporting monthly results to management, internal stakeholders, and Head Office
  • Building out the annual financial plan for Singapore and Australia using assumptions that are driven by solid understanding of business drivers
  • Quarterly forecasting of the P&L to reflect recent changes in the business drivers
  • Develop roll-forward and other supporting analysis to explain variances in plan and forecast
  • Prepare presentation materials for annual business plan and quarterly forecasting
  • Provide strategic and financial support to 5-year plan prepared annually
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Deliver a range of ad hoc analysis and presentation as required
  • Ability to manage and lead a small team as well as cooperate with other internal teams

  • Sales growth expectations are high, and maintaining growth rates are critical for achieving our strategic objectives
  • Volatile medical trend and other economic factors impact reliability of the financial projection and pricing

Experience/Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements:

  • Finance or Actuarial graduate

  • Familiar with Power BI would be preferable
