Healthcare Product Strategist

About the Role:

This is a pivotal position where you will be at the forefront of our product development process, working closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Roadmap:
  • Develop and maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the company's overall goals and market opportunities within the healthcare & wellness sector.
  • Identify and prioritize product opportunities based on user needs, market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights.
  • Translate the product strategy into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Product Development & Execution:
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features and enhancements, and ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
  • Participate in agile development processes (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews) to ensure efficient and effective execution.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on product features based on data and user feedback.
• User Research & Customer Empathy:
  • Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and workflows within the healthcare & wellness context.
  • Plan and execute various user research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, surveys, usability testing) to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Analyze user research findings and translate them into actionable product insights and improvements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare & wellness user landscape, including industry trends.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication:
  • Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, sales, marketing, and customer support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product success.
  • Act as a product evangelist, representing the product and its value proposition.

The ideal candidate will possess 2-4 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology-driven environment.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven ability to manage the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch and iteration.
• Strong understanding of product development methodologies, ideally within an Agile framework.
• Demonstrated experience conducting user research and translating user insights into product improvements.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership.
• Passion for the healthcare & wellness space and a desire to make a positive impact.

Prior experience in the healthcare & wellness industry or a related regulated industry is highly desirable.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with design thinking principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, and sales.
• Understanding of relevant technologies used in healthcare & wellness (e.g., mobile apps, SaaS platforms, data analytics).
• Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Productboard) and user research tools.
