About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a major offshore oil and gas project from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex projects, including EPIC tenders, fabrication, subsea installation, and commissioning.

  • Project Execution: Develop effective project execution strategies to ensure timely completion within budget and with required safety and quality standards.
  • Tendering and Contract Management: Lead the planning and implementation of EPIC tendering processes and effectively manage contracts to achieve project goals.
  • Team Management: Provide guidance and support to subordinates, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver project objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interface closely with customers, operations, and asset holders to ensure continuous improvement of end-products and resolve issues promptly.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher, with specialized training in Project Management, Leadership, Team Building, Negotiation, and Conflict Management.
  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent, with 20 years of project-related experience in the oil and gas industry, including 10 years in project management capacity for major offshore oil and gas EPIC projects.
  • Strong proficiency in English communication and writing, with demonstrated ability in team facilitation, presentations, report preparation, and meeting management.

Additional Skills:

  • Depth knowledge of engineering and design requirements, fabrication processes, offshore installation, hook-up, and commissioning practices.
  • Familiarity with Shell DEPs and international codes and standards governing the offshore oil and gas industry.
