Job Title: M&E Project Coordinator

Maintaining close relationships with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors to ensure timely completion of M&E works is crucial.

Preparing essential documents such as method statements, shop drawings, sample units, terms and conditions sheets, work progress reports, and other relevant materials for M&E related tasks is a key responsibility.

  • Equipment design involves air handling units, computer room air handling units, cooling towers, chillers, sequence of operations, control systems, and fire detection/suppression systems.
  • Coordinating with sub-contractors and consultants to prepare and submit shop drawings and materials/samples is an essential task.
  • Resolving site issues and drawings issues by preparing and checking technical submissions is critical to project success.
  • Developing and maintaining all site mechanical procedures, including end-of-project procedures, standard operating procedures, maintenance operation procedures, and acceptance procedures, ensures consistency with current client standards.
  • Assisting the Technical Manager and Project Director in addressing all M&E issues, including preparation of M&E master and terms and conditions schedules, is important.
  • Managing and arranging for M&E progress inspections (R1, fire audits, etc.), documentation for audits, resource utilization, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle is a major responsibility.

Requirements:

- A degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification is required.

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in LTA or PUB projects, is necessary.
