Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead the migration of our rail communication systems to advanced solutions. As the Technical Lead, you will guide the migration process, ensuring a smooth transition, minimal disruptions, and maintaining system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute migration plans for Radio, Access Management Control Systems (AMS), and Communication Backbone Network (CBN) systems.
  • Design migration paths and oversee their implementation, coordinating with IT, network specialists, and stakeholders.
  • Create detailed migration schedules, resource plans, and risk assessments.
  • Manage system configuration, testing, and commissioning while phasing out legacy systems.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and guidance during migration to resolve technical issues and ensure system compatibility.
  • Conduct progress reviews, address issues promptly, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and support engineering teams, promoting technical excellence and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in system migrations, particularly in Radio, AMS, and CBN systems within large-scale projects.
