Job Title: Audit Leadership Role

Job Summary:
This leadership position oversees the Internal Audit Unit within the organization. The incumbent will develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's financial, operational, and strategic management to inform the internal audit plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Internal Audit Unit to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the organization's financial, operational, and strategic management to inform the internal audit plan.
  • Conduct internal audits, provide recommendations to address identified issues, and prepare internal audit reports.
  • Manage projects outsourced to internal audit service providers to ensure timely completion and alignment with objectives.
  • Provide control advisory to promote good control practices across the organization.
  • Manage the whistleblowing hotline and direct cases to relevant investigating divisions.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as directed by the Audit & Risk Committee and/or the Chief Executive.


Requirements:
  • Possess the necessary competencies to execute job duties effectively.
  • Minimum 10 years of internal audit experience, preferably with a combination of public and private sector experience.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor are advantageous.
  • Meticulous, with strong technical skills and aptitude in root cause analysis.
  • Strong verbal communication and report writing skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to influence and negotiate for issue resolution in a collaborative manner.
  • Resilient and able to adapt quickly in an environment with a steep learning curve.
  • A team player who builds good working relationships with colleagues and strives to make positive contributions towards division and organization development.
