Export Shipping Coordinator Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Export Shipping Coordinator to manage export shipments from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and tracking shipment status, creating necessary documentation, and communicating with clients as needed.

  • This role requires familiarity with cargo control systems, involving the ability to navigate complex logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

The Export Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Execution of MAWB/HAWB is a critical component of this position, involving proactive monitoring and follow-up on export shipment status.
  • Accurate creation of billing, shipment details, and permit declarations is crucial, with timely emailing of customers or overseas agents as necessary.
  • Performing ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors is also an integral part of this role.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in handling A.O.G. shipments is required, including a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
  • Ability to perform overtime hours if required, coping with high volumes of jobs and urgent shipments is essential.
