Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deploying microservices, managing cloud environments, and ensuring seamless delivery of applications.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices. Additionally, they will support applications by troubleshooting issues, fixing bugs, and ensuring smooth operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Synchronize and maintain applications with zero downtime
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
  • Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure), including scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Develop and implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Collaborate with development and platform teams to ensure seamless integrations and deployments
  • Raise and manage service requests, change requests, and coordinate with cloud/infrac teams
  • Provide training and assistance to other application teams when required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and DevOps
  • Strong programming background in Python and
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Proven knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and architecture patterns
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience with Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/SDLC environments
Nice-to-Have
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Engineer or equivalent cloud certifications
  • Experience with modern web frameworks , TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (SR/CR management)
