Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of our culinary team, supporting the Head Chef and other senior staff in the preparation and serving of Chinese hot pot dishes.

The successful candidate will have excellent cooking skills, be highly organized and able to multitask with ease.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing raw materials and ingredients for cooking
  • Cooking food according to specified recipes and applying different cooking methods
  • Dish out, replenish food during peak times
  • Ensure cooking areas and equipment are kept clean and dry after each meal
  • Mentor new culinary staff and supervise the Head Chef
  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the cooking of Chinese hot pot
  • Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of food safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
