Job Description:

This senior accounting role involves managing the entire accounts process, from preparation of financial statements to maintenance of accounting records, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported. The successful candidate will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting, analysis, and interpretation of financial data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the full set of accounts for internal and external reporting purposes
- Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Maintain accounting records, including journals, ledgers, and general ledger
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting, analysis, and interpretation of financial data
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance financial performance
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management on financial matters
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
- Support external auditors during audit exercises
- Perform other duties as required by management

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong educational background in accounting, relevant industry experience, and advanced analytical and communication skills. You should possess a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality. Strong technical skills in accounting software and Microsoft Office are essential.
