Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Full Set of Accounts & Reporting:

  • Manage the full set of accounts for both internal and external reporting purposes.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts along with supporting schedules.
  • Oversee and update the fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure the timely submission of GST returns on a quarterly basis.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Assist with the annual statutory inventory audits and the submission of tax returns by the tax agent.

Production & Cost Monitoring:

  • Monitor and review expected purchases from suppliers.

Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable:

  • Record AR and AP invoices in the SAP system.
  • Regularly follow up on collections and payments for outstanding invoices from trade debtors and creditors to ensure healthy cash flow.
  • Handle inter-company billings and reconciliation.

Cash & Bank Management:

  • Perform daily updates of the Bank Book and conduct Bank Reconciliation.
  • Verify all staff claims, ensuring supporting receipts/documents and proper approvals before processing.
  • Monitor petty cash levels and maintain proper documentation.

Compliance & Audit Support:

  • Ensure adherence to local accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
  • Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with development, marketing, and operations teams to align financial operations with organizational goals

Other Duties:

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time


Requirements:

  • Minimum LCCI or a Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in final accounts reporting is required.
  • Must be capable of managing the full set of accounts with GST compliance documentation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office is required.
