At Teneo, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Communications Consultant to join our dynamic team in Singapore. As a key member of our Strategy and Communications team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional research and insight to support our advisory services to clients across various industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify market trends, geopolitical developments, and business insights to inform client advisory services.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the media landscape, including current trends, news, and developments, to support client account work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling and impactful content for various communications channels, including traditional media, digital, and social media.
  • Support the account team in managing client relationships, developing client communication materials, and ensuring all client needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Contribute to the development of client-ready documents, presentations, and reports, including financial communications and investor relations materials.
  • Support new business development by conducting research and developing insights to support proposal building.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, journalism, communications, public policy, finance, or economics, with a postgraduate degree being an advantage.
  • 1-2 years of experience in corporate and financial communications, journalism, banking/financial services, management consulting, or public policy.
  • Familiarity with social media platform management, including LinkedIn and Twitter, is an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English, with advanced Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • International experience, including study and/or work abroad, is a plus.
  • A strong appetite for geopolitics, macroeconomic, and finance events is essential.
  • Confidence, maturity, and an entrepreneurial spirit, with a can-do attitude and a team player mindset, are required.
  • A strong work ethic, high standards, and commitment to the role are essential.
