We are seeking an experienced data visualization expert to join our analytics team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact on business decision-making.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau. This requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and hands-on experience with data modeling, SQL, and ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand key performance indicators (KPIs), and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
  • Optimize and tune dashboards for performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain data extracts, data sources, and deployments.
  • Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
  • Automate reporting processes and support ad-hoc analytical requests.
  • Work closely with data engineers and database teams to integrate and prepare data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in visualization, user experience (UX), and data governance.

We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Experience as a Tableau developer or in a similar Business Intelligence (BI)/Reporting role is highly desirable. Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep is essential. Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar) and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes are also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar Business Intelligence (BI)/Reporting role.
  • Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep.
  • Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
