The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of physics concepts and be able to create engaging lesson plans that cater to students of varying learning abilities. As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering physics lessons that meet the standards of physics education and align with school goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching methods to ensure student engagement and understanding.
  • Classroom Environment: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect, empathy, and open communication among students.
  • Instructional Strategies: Utilize a range of instructional strategies and resources to address the diverse needs and abilities of students, including hands-on activities and experiments.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance, progress, and any concerns.

Key Skills:

  • Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to students, helping them to develop their academic and personal skills.
  • Written English: Possess excellent written communication skills, enabling you to create engaging lesson plans, reports, and other educational materials.
  • TESOL: Have a solid understanding of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) principles and practices, allowing you to effectively teach English language learners.
  • Literacy: Be knowledgeable about literacy programs and strategies, ensuring that students receive targeted support to improve their reading and writing skills.
  • Recruiting: Assist in the recruitment process by helping to identify and attract high-quality candidates to fill available positions.
  • Tuition: Provide additional support and tuition to students who require extra help outside of regular class time.
  • Task-oriented: Demonstrate a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Pastoral Care: Show a genuine interest in the well-being and welfare of students, providing pastoral care and support when needed.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
