Job Title

Physical Education Educator is a dynamic role that requires a highly skilled professional to lead and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons and activities across various sports.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach physical education and games: Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons and games activities that cater to different ages and skill levels, ensuring students develop essential physical skills, fitness, and teamwork abilities.
  • Curriculum Planning: Develop lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum goals, promoting student learning outcomes and progress monitoring.
  • Student Development: Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage improvement in physical performance and overall well-being.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities: Organize and lead sports clubs, teams, and events, promoting inclusivity and broad participation in school sports outside regular lessons.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure students' physical safety during lessons and sports activities by maintaining equipment, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and promoting responsible behavior.
  • Competitions and Events: Oversee inter-house and inter-school sports competitions, fostering a competitive and inclusive environment that promotes student growth and development.

Essential Criteria:

  • A relevant degree and teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
  • Experience in teaching physical education and games to primary and/or secondary school levels.
  • Knowledge of individual sports and physical activities.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A commitment to creating a positive learning environment and supporting students' well-being.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
