Eye Care Professional Needed for Myopia Centre

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Optician to join our team at the forefront of myopia management. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults affected by myopia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through every step of their eye care journey, from assessment and education to fittings and follow-up. This includes selecting, fitting, and adjusting eyeglasses and contact lenses tailored to myopia management, including myopia control lenses, specialty lenses, and progressive options.

We are looking for an Optician who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in optical technology and myopia management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses for myopia management
  • Interpreting prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists accurately
  • Educating patients and their families on myopia control strategies
  • Maintaining and updating inventory of frames, lenses, and optical equipment
  • Providing exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

  • Certified Optician with valid registration/license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Optician
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in using optical equipment and lens fitting software
