Business Development Manager Job Description

This is a challenging role where you will be responsible for leading local and regional sales, promotions, and marketing campaigns. Your duties will include analyzing sales data and operational reports to project performance, determine profitability, and identify new market opportunities.

You will also be involved in planning and directing the hiring, onboarding, and training of new Sales Representatives. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and analyze customer preferences to optimize sales strategy and efforts.

Key responsibilities include establishing discount rates and pricing schedules aligned with market demands and company goals. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will identify and pursue emerging markets and new sales opportunities.

The position requires setting and monitoring sales quotas for the team, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders are essential in this role.

The Business Development Manager will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services. Effective problem-solving skills are necessary to resolve customer complaints and operational issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; willingness to work on weekends when required.
