
Business Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding Business Hunter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hunting sales and business development within the freight forwarding industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for improving our company's market position and achieving financial growth by meeting and exceeding objectives through the development of new businesses, coordination of Business Development shipments and existing business penetration. Additionally, they will identify target customers, initiate own sales calls, pursue them and ultimately convert them into clients. They will also work with Finance and Indoor Sales team on payment issues and follow up on payment with clients. Furthermore, they will build and maintain a pipeline of business, meet general profit targets in line with set KPIs, prepare sales planning, and forecasting activities, source rates from carriers, hauliers, offices, and worldwide agents, interact and maintain relationship with subcontractors like carriers, coleaders, and trucking companies etc, and maintain effective teamwork with members of the Indoor Sales, Business Development team, and other functional teams.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hunter sales/business development in the freight forwarding industry.
- A proven track record and good networking with carriers, coleaders, and trucking companies etc.
