Job OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology and Biomechanics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge research and education programs in the field of ophthalmic biomedical engineering.
Successful candidates are expected to have a strong research background and a proven track record of publications in top-tier journals. They should also demonstrate excellent teaching and mentoring skills, as well as a commitment to service and community engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading innovative research projects in ophthalmic biomedical engineering, teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and contributing to the development of curricula and teaching materials. They will also be expected to participate in departmental and university service activities, such as serving on committees and representing the university at conferences and events.
