Quality Assurance Manager

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in quality management and food safety.

  • This position is responsible for ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of quality and food safety systems aligned with internal and external standards.
  • The successful candidate will assess the feasibility and acceptance of internal and external requirements and expectations.
  • They will coordinate and assist in the implementation of change management processes and monitor progress.
  • The role also involves reviewing and analyzing data to provide regular updates on food safety, quality, and service trends.
  • Additionally, the Quality Assurance Manager will continually evaluate and trend process controls, food safety, and quality programs, and recommend appropriate improvements.
  • Key responsibilities include monitoring and supporting the resolution of quality non-conformances by enabling in-depth root cause analysis, trend analysis, and stringent action follow-up, including validation of resolution effectiveness.
  • The successful candidate will also lead the Quality Assurance team, providing functional leadership for regular performance reviews, succession planning, staff development and training.
  • Management representative (Food Safety Team Leader) to handle all food safety and quality related audits from regulatory, certification bodies and customers.

Requirements:

  • Diploma /Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or related field
  • Good Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000)
  • Good Communication, Strategic Planning, Organizational and Analytical Skills
  • Dealing with complexity, and eye for details.
