Piping Material Engineers play a crucial role in the upstream oil and gas sector, ensuring that piping material engineering related activities are executed efficiently and effectively. We seek an experienced Piping Material Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Act as a single point of contact for piping material engineering matters throughout all project phases.">
  • Responsible for piping material engineering related activity, including leading projects and coordinating with other organisational units as required.">
  • Maintain technical integrity for compliance to project HSE requirements relevant to the scope of work.">
  • Review and provide technical inputs on various piping material related specifications and associated technical matters.">
  • Ensure that all assigned work is completed on time, project schedules, and of intended quality.">
  • Cordinate actively with other offices, for the projects being executed from multiple locations, attend meetings, and communicate effectively.">

Requirements:

">

We require an individual with a minimum of 12 years of experience having worked in an engineering setup for upstream oil & gas projects (platforms & FPSO projects) serving in the capacity of a Lead/Senior Material Engineer.

">

Apart from excellent technical knowledge, we expect strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to work well under minimal supervision.

">

The ideal candidate should have experience in software usage for piping material quantity estimate, procurement planning, material traceability, and delivery to site, as well as proficiency in common business applications such as MS Office and MS Excel.

">

We also look for individuals with expertise in Navisworks, ASME, API, and NCS/UKCS sectors. Prior work experience in medium/large-sized brownfield and green-field projects in the Oil and Gas sector will be highly beneficial.

Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines such as ASME, API, BS, European Regulations, and others will be a plus.
