Overview

At ACCORD SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD., we are seeking a seasoned Creative Director - Packaging Design Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our packaging design initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive creative excellence, and ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced senior graphic designer with a strong portfolio, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovative design.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Creative Support: Collaborate with Sales to drive creative excellence across various projects, including packaging, promotional materials, and digital content.
  2. Concept Development: Assist Creative Leads in ideation and creation of visually compelling content for social media, videos, brochures, flyers, name cards, banners, beach flags, and other marketing collateral.
  3. Team Collaboration: Partner with Account/Project Servicing to support weekly job planning, attend daily briefings, and contribute to execution of traditional and digital advertising projects.
  4. Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress, provide updates to the Creative Manager, and ensure deadlines are met.
  5. Innovative Execution: Bring innovative technological ideas to life, support creative processes, and foster a team-centric culture.
  6. Skill Development: Stay current with latest creative tools and software, recommend learning opportunities, and support growth of junior team members.
  7. Efficient Delivery: Ensure all assigned creative deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and to the highest standard.
  8. Ownership & Adherence: Take ownership of creative projects from concept to completion, adhering to brand guidelines.
  9. Comprehensive Design: Conceptualize and design graphics for wide range of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  10. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product designers, marketers, and copywriters to develop materials highlighting key features and resonating with target audience.
  11. Mock-Ups & Production: Create mock-ups, datelines, and print-ready files for various marketing materials, ensuring high-quality and accurate output.
  12. Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on current design trends and competitor strategies.
  13. Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders while balancing creative vision and brand consistency.
  14. Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with regulatory and legal requirements in various global markets.
  15. Vendor Collaboration: Work with external vendors and suppliers to ensure all materials are produced to the highest standards.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in senior design role, with strong portfolio showcasing work.
  2. A minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in graphic and packaging design, preferably in technology or consumer goods sectors.
  3. Intermediate knowledge of mass printing industry.
  4. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  5. A keen eye for detail and passion for pushing beyond expected.
  6. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with internal teams and external partners.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  10. Knowledge of 3D rendering and mock-up tools is a plus.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
